A double sided photobook
$85.00
The book is a double sided concept photobook looking at two different themes: Societal need and Nostalgia
One one side is Fuel Scarcity, an editorial look at the subject with the same name, the issue of fuel scarcity in Nigeria. It highlights both the historical context and the current state of the issue, focusing on its socio-economic impact and the resilience of the Nigerian people. The project aims to capture how fuel shortages have shaped daily life and how individuals and communities have adapted to these challenges; albeit in a conceptual and fashion editorial style.
On the other side is Hair Chronicles: Nostalgia Reimagined, a photo project that takes an avante-garde approach to capture hair styles. The project that explores the intersection of traditional African hairstyles and avant-garde fashion. The project celebrates cultural heritage while pushing contemporary boundaries, combining elements of the past with innovative, forward-thinking designs.
